The Worldwide Christian Churches Ministries (WCCM) – Rev. Fred Cheung Memorial Scholarships has recently announced the scholarship fund for International Theological Seminary amounting to $30,000. The Rev. Fred Cheung founded WCCM in 1995. WCCM aims to carry on the Great Commission which the Lord Jesus has given to His followers and to help the indigenous churches to become a strategic base for evangelism and leadership training, and provide financial support and other resources to help their ministries. It has since expanded its ministry in India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand and many other places. ITS is blessed to be one of the beneficiaries of this ministry.
The Foundation of San Marino Community Church has selected International Theological Seminary as one of the recipients of its annual grant. The grant amounting to $3,000 was awarded to ITS for the purchase of new audio/visual equipment for the chapel. The Foundation of SMCC, established in 1958, creates current and future giving opportunities for members of the Church who give back, in response to God’s blessings. Every year the Foundation selects grantees among many non-profit organizations in San Gabriel Valley.
For more than thirty years, ITS has been actively pursuing its mission to train and equip leaders from different countries. To date, more than 800 graduates are actively involved in the ministry in many places in the world.
