Dr. Kamel is founder and president of the Arabic Communication Center (ACC), an international communications ministry based in Temple City, California, the first Christian media organization founded by Arabs.
Under his leadership, ACC conducts seminars, distributes Arabic language films, produces Arabic-language media broadcast to millions in the U.S. and the Middle East, dubs Christian programming and films into Arabic, and publishes Open Door Magazine in English and Arabic. Dr. Kamel also hosts a religious affairs television program that airs in California, Oklahoma, New York/New Jersey, and Michigan.
“I am a proponent of Arabs reaching Arabs and Muslims to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” says Dr. Kamel, who is Egyptian by birth. “Arabic speaking peoples are vastly under-served by other outreaches because of cultural and political obstacles. We speak Arabic, the language of the Qur’an, so they will listen to us. We need the support of all Christians of good will for this enormous task.”
